At the Farnborough International Airshow, Jackson Square Aviation announced a new deal to equip an undisclosed number of Airbus A320neo family aircraft with RTX’s Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. Pratt & Whitney’s GTF architecture remains a significant player in the narrowbody market, promising a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and a 75% smaller noise footprint compared to previous engine generations. With more than 2,800 aircraft currently in service globally and a backlog exceeding 8,000 engines, the platform continues to serve as a cornerstone for operators looking to balance performance with environmental mandates. For Jackson Square Aviation, which manages a total fleet of 344 aircraft across 34 countries, the move reaffirms a commitment to high-efficiency assets backed by the Mitsubishi HC Capital group.
