Cyber Warfare Startup Twenty Hits $1.2 Billion Valuation

Founded in 2024, Twenty is moving to modernize cyber warfare by replacing legacy defense contracting models with high-velocity, AI-native engineering. The company develops end-to-end systems designed to allow warfighters to disrupt adversary networks at speed and scale. According to the company, these tools prioritize human judgment, integrating automation with rigorous mission alignment and controlled deployment protocols.

The fresh capital brings Twenty's total funding to $168 million, backed by a roster of national security-focused investors including Accel, General Catalyst, and In-Q-Tel. Jon Chu, the Khosla Ventures partner who led the latest round, noted that the firm represents the first team he has encountered with the combined depth in AI, cyber, and defense required to operate at the speed of modern threats. CEO Joe Lin stated that the new funds will be directed immediately toward research and engineering to expand the company's technical infrastructure.
