The VET TEC 2.0 program focuses on transitioning military personnel into the technology sector within 180 days of separation. By coordinating directly with the VA, ICOHS College removes the administrative burden from students, covering tuition, books, and providing a monthly housing allowance. Because the program does not draw from standard GI Bill benefits, even veterans who have utilized their full 48-month entitlement may qualify for these bootcamps.
Kieu L. Vo, Executive Director at ICOHS College, stated that the initiative aims to remove the runaround often associated with civilian career transitions. The college currently offers specialized modules in CompTIA A+ and Network+, both designed for immediate industry application. With national enrollment capped at 4,000 participants per fiscal year, the institution encourages early application.
