Somerset-based Infrastructure AI has launched Agentic Hub 1.0, a platform designed to embed persistent, evolving intelligence into physical assets like hospitals, airports, and utilities. By housing neural-network and LLM-based agents within secure containers, the system moves beyond simple task execution toward autonomous, self-managing infrastructure.

The platform shifts the paradigm of edge computing by transforming standard interface modules into what the company calls Living Infrastructure Devices. These units allow agents to retain memory, context, and operational history, enabling them to learn from the specific physical environments they inhabit. Rather than acting as temporary workers that execute predefined workflows, these digital residents remain permanently stationed, accumulating wisdom over the lifecycle of the assets they monitor.

At the core of this architecture is a dual-intelligence layer. Neural-network agents handle sensory tasks such as anomaly detection and equipment diagnostics, while LLM agents provide reasoning, orchestration, and policy enforcement. To ensure security and reliability, the hub incorporates an Agent Passport system and a blockchain-based governance framework. Co-founder Dilip Rahulan emphasized that this trust architecture is critical for deploying autonomous agents in sensitive environments. By enabling persistent intelligence, the company aims to foster an interconnected ecosystem where assets communicate and collaborate, ultimately creating a global Intelligence Economy for the physical world.
