Equifax Revenue Hits $1.7 Billion as Company Doubles AI Cost-Cut Goal

The Atlanta-based data giant, led by CEO Mark W. Begor, credited its growth to a strategic pivot toward cloud-based analytics and proprietary AI tools. Despite broader economic uncertainty, the company saw a 25% surge in U.S. mortgage revenue and a 17% gain in its U.S. Information Solutions segment. Workforce Solutions, another core pillar, contributed 7% growth, supported by significant new government contract wins totaling $300 million in annual contract value during the first half of the year.

Equifax is aggressively scaling its "EFX.AI" platform to enhance product performance and operational efficiency. This focus on automation prompted the firm to double its 2026–2028 cost-reduction goal to $150 million. The planned acquisition of Círculo de Crédito—the fastest-growing credit bureau in Mexico—is expected to close in the fourth quarter, further expanding the company's footprint in international markets. Shareholders saw direct returns during the quarter, with the firm distributing $366 million through dividends and the repurchase of 1.8 million shares.
