The partnership between Tuya and Robopoet matured throughout 2025 as the cloud platform provided the underlying infrastructure to turn Fuzozo into a market leader. This collaboration saw significant traction during China’s 618 Shopping Festival, where Fuzozo moved 40,000 units to claim the top spot in the Tmall AI toy category. Other Tuya-supported products, such as Walulu and the AOOMII Smart AI Companion Robot, also demonstrated strong sales performance, validating a broader model of ecosystem-wide hardware deployment.

Tuya Smart Backs Robopoet in Push for AI Hardware Scale
With nearly 300,000 units of the Fuzozo companion robot sold, Tuya Smart has deepened its commitment to physical AI by joining a 100 million RMB pre-A funding round for its partner, Robopoet. The investment marks a strategic pivot for the cloud provider toward controlling the commercialization loop of AI-native hardware.
Alex Yang, co-founder and COO of Tuya Smart, identified 2026 as a pivotal year for scaling AI hardware, noting that market-validated products are entering a phase of explosive growth. To sustain this trajectory, Tuya is leveraging a full-stack toolkit that includes its WukongAI 3.0, the OmniMem V2.0 long-term memory system, and the Physical Action Model. By opening these proprietary technologies and global channel access to developers, Tuya aims to lower entry barriers for innovators, effectively turning the development of complex physical AI into a repeatable, scalable process.
