Bottoms arrives at the Atlanta-based firm after a tenure at Upwork, bringing over 25 years of experience from roles at Meta, Dropbox, and Yahoo. He will oversee product strategy for the company’s core platforms: GoFan, MaxPreps, and the NFHS Network. His mandate focuses on refining the user experience across mobile and connected TV devices to better link schools with their local fanbases.

Poon joins as CFO with two decades of financial leadership in the SaaS and marketplace sectors, including executive roles at Eightfold AI, Twitter, and Zynga. She is tasked with managing the company’s financial operations and long-term expansion strategy. Her arrival coincides with a period of growth for PlayOn, which has already returned more than $170 million in revenue to schools through its digital ticketing and streaming services. CEO Perkins Miller noted that the new hires are intended to accelerate innovation as the company looks to deepen its footprint in the high school sports market.
