The transition marks a strategic pivot for the Atlanta-based company, which has spent nearly three decades managing complex global IoT deployments. By exiting the public markets, KORE aims to bypass the constraints of quarterly reporting, allowing leadership to focus on long-term infrastructure investment rather than short-term shareholder pressures.
"Going private lets us move faster, think bigger, and invest more boldly in what matters most to our customers," said Ron Totton, President and CEO of KORE. The company maintains that its core personnel and operational relationships will remain intact throughout the ownership change. Investors holding common stock are currently being directed to Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company to facilitate the exchange for merger consideration, while shares held in "street name" will be processed automatically.
