SGT Auto Transport Overhauls Logistics With AI-Driven Pricing

SGT Auto Transport Overhauls Logistics With AI-Driven Pricing

The company’s upgraded rate engine moves beyond static pricing tables, instead ingesting a wide array of variables—ranging from national fuel reserves and macroeconomic inflation to seasonal demand and real-time carrier performance. This transition addresses a chronic industry issue: the disconnect between initial estimates and final costs. Between January 2024 and July 2026, SGT reported a significant reduction in quoting errors, cutting the average variance from $263 to under $100.

Beyond consumer pricing, the firm is leveraging AI to optimize the backend of vehicle logistics. The system automatically vets carriers and maps routes based on live traffic, weather patterns, and fuel consumption efficiency. This shift has allowed SGT to increase early dispatch rates from 25% to 40%. CEO Jack Savov noted that these tools are now foundational to the company’s competitive strategy. By utilizing predictive analysis to flag potential transit disruptions before they occur, the company claims it can resolve logistical hurdles proactively rather than reacting to delays after they impact the customer.
