The festival runs from September 18-20, September 25-27, and October 2-4 at the 2032 Karbach St. location. Central to the event is the seasonal Karbachtoberfest Märzen, an authentic Bavarian-style lager brewed with German malts and hops. General manager Chris Meyer noted that the festival’s growth reflects Houston’s enthusiasm for traditional craft brewing and community-focused events.

Karbachtoberfest Returns to Houston for Three Weekends of Bavarian Tradition
Wiener dog races, stein-hoisting contests, and a dedicated 40-foot beer tent will transform the Karbach Brewing Co. Biergarten this fall. The Houston brewery is set to host its signature Karbachtoberfest celebration over three consecutive weekends, starting September 18, bringing a slice of Munich culture to the Texas craft scene.
Beyond the beer, the brewery grounds will feature a German-inspired menu with locally sourced bratwurst and soft pretzels. Patrons can participate in endurance-testing stein-hoisting competitions or watch the fan-favorite dachshund races, which benefit the Houston Dachshund Rescue. Attendees have the option to purchase collectible glassware, including one-liter dimpled steins and traditional boot glasses. Live music is scheduled throughout the duration of the event, reinforcing the brewery's role as a local hub for seasonal gatherings.
