Eucatex Overhauls Supply Chain Planning with RELEX Solutions

Founded in 1951, Eucatex manages seven manufacturing facilities and exports to over 40 countries. However, the company’s expansion led to a complex inventory environment where planning relied on disconnected spreadsheets. By late 2025, this lack of integration hampered visibility across commercial and logistics departments, tying up working capital and complicating stock management. Under the new agreement, Sintec Consulting will oversee the deployment of RELEX’s unified platform. The system will generate forecasts up to 18 months in advance, dynamically recalibrating safety stock and replenishment parameters based on real-time distribution signals. This shift seeks to minimize emergency shipments while aligning logistics constraints with service level targets. José Antônio Goulart de Carvalho, Executive Vice President at Eucatex, noted that the project is designed to grant leadership granular control over the supply chain, turning the technology into a foundation for active capital management. Beyond operational gains, the implementation aligns with Eucatex’s sustainability efforts; Martín Saludas, VP Manufacturing LATAM at RELEX, highlighted that the resulting reduction in excess inventory and transport waste directly supports the manufacturer’s resource efficiency goals.
