American Express and Accor Launch Global Loyalty Partnership

The partnership targets premium travelers, offering automatic upgrades and perks at over 45 hotel brands including Raffles and Fairmont.

American Express and Accor Launch Global Loyalty Partnership

The collaboration rolls out in phases across markets including Australia, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Platinum Card members will gain access to ALL Accor Gold status, unlocking benefits such as complimentary room upgrades, late check-outs, and welcome amenities at participating properties. Beyond status matching, the agreement integrates the two loyalty programs by enabling the conversion of Membership Rewards points into the ALL Accor ecosystem. This allows cardholders to apply their points toward bookings, dining, and specialized experiences within the hotel group’s network.

Suzanne Morel, Senior Vice President at American Express, described the move as a strategic effort to enhance travel value through greater redemption flexibility. Mehdi Hemici, Chief Loyalty & E-Commerce Officer at Accor, noted that the alliance aligns the hospitality group’s luxury portfolio with the American Express premium cardholder base. While the initial framework is set for 2026, the companies plan to release specific conversion ratios and regional details throughout the coming year.
