TELUS Overhauls Executive Leadership to Streamline Telecom Operations

David Fuller returns to the company after a hiatus, having previously served in various senior roles between 2004 and 2019. In his new capacity as Executive Vice President and Group President of TELUS Communications, he will oversee the integration of consumer and business solutions. Fuller joins from Searchlight Capital Partners, bringing recent experience from his tenure at Rogers Wireless and advisory roles in the technology sector.

Navin Arora moves to the role of EVP and Group President of Global Platform Businesses, where he will manage TELUS Health, Agriculture & Consumer Goods, and Digital Solutions. His expanded mandate now includes oversight of corporate strategy, global ventures, and data center operations. The leadership shift coincides with the departure of Zainul Mawji, who steps down as EVP of Consumer Solutions following a 25-year tenure marked by the expansion of the company's PureFibre and smart home initiatives.

CEO Victor Dodig stated that the reorganization serves as the initial phase of a broader transformation intended to improve decision-making and enhance shareholder value. By aligning resources toward higher-margin products, the company seeks to navigate a rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape. These changes follow a period of significant growth for the Vancouver-based firm, which currently maintains over 17 million customer connections and generates more than $20 billion in annual revenue.
