The deal, finalized July 17, 2026, brings together an annual student population exceeding 8,000 across North America and Europe. While financial terms remain undisclosed, the acquisition grants the Barcelona institution access to broader employer networks and international study pathways, including potential student exchanges and expanded online learning initiatives. The school will continue to operate from its central Barcelona campus, maintaining its existing faculty and entrepreneurial curriculum without disruption.

Jack Larson, CEO of Triumph, stated that the partnership mirrors the focus on professional training and business acumen found at his organization’s U.S.-based Escoffier schools. Since its founding in 2017, the Culinary Institute of Barcelona has trained over 1,300 students from more than 100 countries, emphasizing a model of culinary leadership and restaurant management that frequently leads alumni to launch their own food enterprises. Josep Gala Micó, co-founder of the institute, noted that the merger allows the school to scale its mission of nurturing chef-entrepreneurs by leveraging Triumph's global resources.
