FTAI Aviation Secures $1.47 Billion Power Infrastructure Deal

J&F, a collaboration between FTAI and the Jereh Group, will manage deliveries of the Mod-1 generator sets through November 2027. The five-year master supply agreement allows for subsequent orders, creating a flexible pipeline for the client's energy needs. Payments are structured around specific milestones, beginning with an upfront deposit followed by incremental progress payments tied to production, testing, and final on-site commissioning.

The contract includes a nuanced performance clause that links financial settlement to power output. While the company faces a potential 10% downward adjustment for underperformance, it can also secure upward payments for units exceeding established efficiency standards. FTAI management noted that this initial contract represents a significant portion of their projected Mod-1 output for 2027, signaling a major shift in the company's production volume.
