The partnership aims to combine BusinessNext’s specialized autonomous banking platform with ServiceNow’s robust back-office workflow infrastructure. By leveraging ServiceNow’s established sales machinery, BusinessNext intends to scale its presence beyond its current footprint, which already spans India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the U.S. BusinessNext founder and CEO Nishant Singh noted that the company, which generated $32 million in revenue last year, opted for this strategic alliance over traditional venture capital to gain immediate market reach.

ServiceNow invests $40 million to anchor its banking software expansion
ServiceNow is deepening its push into the global financial sector by acquiring a 5% stake in Indian banking software specialist BusinessNext. The $40 million investment values the Noida-based firm at $700 million, granting the company access to ServiceNow’s expansive global sales network to accelerate international growth.

BusinessNext has spent years refining its AI-driven banking tools, designed to handle sensitive data on private infrastructure while automating complex customer-facing workflows. With over 1,300 employees, the company has seen its valuation climb significantly from its 2021 standing of $181 million. Kulmeet Bawa, ServiceNow’s managing director for India and SAARC, stated that the deal addresses a critical shift in the financial sector, where institutions are moving from experimental digital projects toward full-scale, AI-integrated operations.
