Vanderbilt and Seewald Launch Fashion Accelerator with AI Commerce

Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and media entrepreneur Michaela Seewald have unveiled a new investment and technology platform designed to help designers scale their brands. The studio aims to bypass traditional industry bottlenecks by integrating direct-to-consumer commerce and capital access, allowing creators to maintain full ownership of their work while expanding globally.

Vanderbilt and Seewald Launch Fashion Accelerator with AI Commerce

The newly minted Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio will make its public debut on September 15, 2026, at Grand Central Station during New York Fashion Week. The event marks a homecoming of sorts, as it will be the first runway show hosted by a Vanderbilt at the historic terminal built by the family. The showcase will feature inaugural collections from DSTN, Lorena Saravia, and Hayari Paris.

Unlike traditional agencies that offer fragmented services, the platform provides a unified ecosystem of venture capital, media exposure, and proprietary AI-enabled tools. Central to this offering is a "Click-To-Buy" runway integration, which allows viewers to purchase items in real-time during live shows. By leveraging the existing SohoMuse creator network, the studio ensures that designers retain data ownership and direct relationships with their customers. The initiative focuses on providing emerging and established talent with the infrastructure necessary to navigate the transition from creative inspiration to sustainable commercial growth.
