Beyond the branding on the team's jersey, the Earthquakes are integrating Apollo’s AI system into their core revenue functions. The club plans to overhaul how it handles group ticket sales, sponsorship pipelines, and season ticket renewals by unifying fragmented workflows that have historically relied on disjointed software tools. The goal is to create a singular, data-backed engine that automates lead management and deepens fan engagement.

Club President Jared Shawlee noted that the technology offers a level of integration he has not previously encountered in his career. By consolidating data and execution, the Earthquakes intend to modernize their approach to commercial growth, providing a blueprint for other professional sports organizations to follow. This operational shift comes as MLS viewership rose 62% year-over-year to start the 2026 season, putting pressure on clubs to maximize commercial efficiency.

Apollo CEO Matt Curl views the collaboration as a testing ground for scaling his company’s technology across the broader sports industry. The platform, which currently serves over 600,000 companies, treats professional sports teams as high-growth businesses requiring sophisticated customer intelligence. The partnership will make its official debut on July 25 at Stanford Stadium during the California Clasico match against the LA Galaxy.
