At the AMD Advancing AI event, MiTAC Computing Technology introduced a new suite of server platforms designed to handle the rigorous demands of agentic AI. The lineup features the latest 6th Gen AMD EPYC processors, offering scalable, energy-efficient solutions for modern data centers and high-performance computing environments.
Beyond general-purpose servers, the company is highlighting specialized hardware like the TN85-B8261, which supports AMD Instinct MI350P GPUs for intensive AI training and inference. For large-scale AI factories, MiTAC is showcasing a liquid-cooled rack solution that houses up to 96 AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs. This configuration promises a 50% increase in GPU density and a 33% reduction in data center footprint compared to traditional deployments. Additionally, the G8825Z5 model incorporates Diamond Cooling technology, allowing for stable operation in high-temperature environments while boosting AI tokens per watt by 50%. To support development, MiTAC has opened remote testing access to these AI racks, allowing engineering teams to validate workloads on the new hardware architectures.
