Nippon Seisen Profits Double in First Quarter

Nippon Seisen Co. Ltd. reported a sharp surge in profitability for the first quarter ending June 30, with net profit reaching 635 million yen. This result represents a significant climb from the 315 million yen recorded during the same period last year, signaling a robust start to the 2026 fiscal year.

Nippon Seisen Profits Double in First Quarter

Revenue for the Japanese manufacturer rose to 12.11 billion yen, up from 11.28 billion yen in the prior year. Efficiency gains fueled the bottom line, as operating profit climbed to 804 million yen from 464 million yen. Similarly, pretax profit nearly doubled, landing at 878 million yen compared to 483 million yen previously.

Calculated under Japanese accounting standards, these figures translate to earnings of 20.69 yen per share, effectively doubling the 10.30 yen per share reported in the first quarter of 2025.
