Tech Mahindra and Cisco Unify Security Services for Distributed Work

Tech Mahindra and Cisco are joining forces to launch an AI-driven Security Service Edge platform, aiming to consolidate fragmented cybersecurity tools into a single, cloud-native framework for global enterprises navigating the complexities of hybrid work and the rapid adoption of generative AI agents.

Tech Mahindra and Cisco Unify Security Services for Distributed Work

The partnership integrates Tech Mahindra’s managed services and integration capabilities with Cisco’s Secure Access platform. This collaboration addresses the operational friction caused by siloed security controls, replacing them with a unified approach that manages zero-trust access across diverse networks, devices, and cloud environments. By embedding a secure web gateway, data loss prevention, and firewall-as-a-service into one architecture, the offering is designed to accelerate secure cloud deployment.

Saket Singh, Senior Vice President at Tech Mahindra, noted that the platform targets the control gaps created by distributed environments, while Cisco’s Raj Chopra emphasized that the solution moves beyond adding more tools to an already overburdened security stack. The platform provides consistent policy enforcement, specifically addressing the emerging security requirements for organizations deploying autonomous AI agents. This shift allows businesses to modernize their security architecture while maintaining visibility in an increasingly decentralized digital landscape.
