Bluerock Acquisition Corp. II Targets $177 Million IPO

Bluerock Acquisition Corp. II aims to raise up to $177.5 million in a public offering, betting on the growing appetite for decentralized finance and digital asset infrastructure. The Cayman Islands-based blank check company filed its registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission this past Friday to initiate the process.

Bluerock Acquisition Corp. II Targets $177 Million IPO

The offering consists of 15 million units priced at $10 each, with each unit bundling a Class A ordinary share and one-third of a redeemable warrant. Underwriter BTIG holds a 45-day option to acquire an additional 2.3 million units to satisfy potential over-allotment demand. The total projected proceeds of $154.5 million, which could climb to $177.5 million if the option is fully exercised, include capital from a concurrent private placement.

Management intends to seek acquisition targets specifically within the realms of decentralized platforms, digital assets, and data-heavy fintech systems. The company plans to list its units on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker BRRKU. Following the separation of the units into their constituent parts, the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are slated to trade under the symbols BRRK and BRRKW, respectively.
