Investors Face August Deadline in Futu Holdings Securities Fraud Suit

Investors who purchased Futu Holdings Limited securities between May 24, 2023, and May 27, 2026, have until August 25, 2026, to file as lead plaintiffs in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation alleges that the firm misled shareholders regarding its compliance with Chinese regulatory standards.

Investors Face August Deadline in Futu Holdings Securities Fraud Suit

The lawsuit, filed by the Rosen Law Firm, centers on claims that Futu failed to disclose its non-compliance with China Securities Regulatory Commission requirements. Plaintiffs allege the company continued operating its securities, public fund sales, and futures businesses in mainland China without securing necessary licenses or approvals. According to the complaint, these omissions rendered the company’s financial results inaccurate and its public statements about business operations misleading. When the regulatory issues became public, shareholders reportedly suffered financial losses.

Investors seeking to join the action can do so through the Rosen Law Firm, which represents claimants on a contingency fee basis. No class has been certified yet, meaning investors are not currently represented by specific counsel unless they choose to retain one. Serving as a lead plaintiff is optional, and individual investors may choose to remain absent class members while still remaining eligible for potential future recoveries. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Phillip Kim to discuss the legal process before the court-mandated deadline.
