First Solar Faces Class Action Over Alleged Misleading Operational Claims

Investors who purchased First Solar shares between February 26, 2025, and February 24, 2026, are being recruited for a class action lawsuit. The litigation targets alleged violations of the Securities Exchange Act, centering on claims that the company misled shareholders regarding its manufacturing shift from Asia to the United States.

First Solar Faces Class Action Over Alleged Misleading Operational Claims

The legal complaint, highlighted by the DJS Law Group, asserts that First Solar disseminated false information concerning its ability to navigate international trade tariffs and relocate operations. Plaintiffs argue that management overstated the feasibility of these strategic shifts, creating a distorted view of the company’s stability during the specified class period. Shareholders have until August 24, 2026, to take action regarding potential lead plaintiff appointments.

While the DJS Law Group is actively soliciting participants for the case, the firm notes that individual investors are not required to serve as lead plaintiffs to remain eligible for a potential recovery. The suit specifically cites violations of §§10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, alleging that the company’s public statements throughout the year were materially misleading to the market.
