Benson, who previously managed the brand’s digital and influencer engagement, will now oversee a dedicated department designed to integrate corporate communications with consumer-facing storytelling. His promotion follows a period where the company leveraged partnerships with over 100 creators to drive $11 million in earned media value. Chief Marketing Officer Holly Smith noted that Benson’s ability to blend social strategy with brand narrative was central to the decision to institutionalize this function.

Before his tenure at P.F. Chang’s, Benson spent 15 years in digital marketing for major entertainment and food industry players, including NBC, FOX, and El Pollo Loco. His professional background includes recognition on Nation's Restaurant News' 2024 Power List and Business Insider’s list of top influencer executives. In his new position, he will focus on campaigns that align culinary innovation with cultural trends, aiming to maintain the momentum generated by recent high-impact initiatives like the brand's 'Summer in Tokyo' and seasonal holiday promotions.
