Nathan Hummel Joins Rosenberg & Parker to Lead Financial Institutions

Hummel brings a deep background in capital markets and trade finance to his new role, having previously held senior positions at major institutions including Morgan Stanley, Allianz Trade, and Capital One. At Rosenberg & Parker, he will focus on providing specialized guidance regarding bank-fronted surety, credit risk distribution, and standby letters of credit. His arrival follows a period of growth for the firm, which has operated as a surety-only brokerage since its founding in 1944.

President Jack Rosenberg cited Hummel’s appointment as a key step toward the firm’s goal of positioning itself as a sophisticated, innovation-focused broker. For his part, Hummel emphasized that the move aligns with his preference for advisory-based client relationships over purely transactional engagements. He intends to prioritize the development of bespoke capital solutions for clients facing complex financial hurdles that standard market products cannot address.
