Founded in 1983, Cosabella has built its reputation on blending traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern design. Raymond Dayan, CEO of Crown Brands Group, described the acquisition as a validation of the company's long-term model: pairing authentic heritage labels with specialized operating partners to drive growth. The firm, backed by G72 Holdings—the family office of Century 21 co-founder Raymond Gindi—intends to use this purchase to solidify its footprint in the intimates sector before pivoting to new consumer categories.

Crown Brands Group Adds Italian Lingerie Label Cosabella to Portfolio
Seven months after acquiring Hanky Panky, New York-based Crown Brands Group has finalized the purchase of luxury lingerie house Cosabella from the Swiss-listed CALIDA GROUP. This move cements Crown's focus on building a dominant vertical in the premium intimates market through strategic acquisitions of heritage brands.

Operational responsibility will shift to a licensing framework designed to scale the brand. Rafar Group, the parent company of Gelmart International, will oversee product design, e-commerce, and distribution, mirroring its current role with Hanky Panky. Dreamwear has been tapped to manage the brand’s sleepwear and loungewear lines. By consolidating these functions under experienced partners, Crown aims to expand Cosabella’s reach across specialty boutiques, department stores, and international e-commerce channels. The group continues to evaluate further acquisitions of globally recognized lifestyle and apparel brands.
