Meitav Investment House Credit Rating Lifted to Aa2.il

Midroog has upgraded Meitav Investment House to an Aa2.il issuer and Series D bond rating, citing the firm's robust financial health and market dominance. The move, which maintains a stable outlook for Israel’s largest investment house, reflects significant gains in profitability and leverage ratios over the current fiscal period.

Meitav Investment House Credit Rating Lifted to Aa2.il

The rating agency, an affiliate of Moody’s, attributed the upgrade to Meitav’s diversified revenue streams and its consistent expansion in assets under management. With a client base exceeding 1.6 million and approximately 464 billion NIS in assets, the firm demonstrated a strengthened ability to meet financial obligations through operational cash flow. The assessment highlights Meitav’s broad market share across provident funds, pension management, and retail brokerage as key pillars of its improved capital structure.

CEO Ilan Raviv described the shift to Aa2.il as a validation of the firm’s long-term growth strategy. Since its founding in 1979, the company has increasingly focused on technology-driven financial solutions, a factor Midroog noted as instrumental in maintaining the firm's competitive edge. The stable outlook suggests that analysts expect the investment house to sustain its current performance levels despite broader market fluctuations.
