The program covers a wide range of devices, with monthly payments beginning at $17.99 for iPhones, $11.99 for Apple Watches, $24.99 for Macs, and $11.99 for iPads. Depending on the hardware, users can select one-, two-, or three-year terms. Once the lease expires, customers retain the flexibility to trade in for the latest model, purchase the device outright, or simply return the hardware to exit the agreement.

Apple Shifts to Klarna-Powered Leasing as Hardware Costs Climb
Starting this week, Apple is replacing its legacy financing schemes with a new leasing program powered by Klarna, allowing U.S. customers to pay for iPhones, Macs, and iPads through tiered monthly installments. The move arrives as the company grapples with rising hardware costs driven by industry-wide memory chip shortages.
This rollout effectively consolidates Apple’s previous in-house efforts, such as the iPhone Upgrade Program and iPhone Payments, under the Klarna platform. Users can track their billing cycles and manage payments directly through the Klarna mobile application. To offset higher price points for Mac and iPad lineups, Apple is also allowing customers to apply trade-in credits toward their monthly lease costs, while offering 3% Daily Cash back for those utilizing the Apple Card for payments.
