The initiative targets two distinct groups within the industry. Les Dames d'Escoffier New York will grant two scholarships to members working across hospitality and beverage sectors, underscoring a commitment to female leadership and professional development. Simultaneously, the academy has renewed its partnership with the Institute of Masters of Wine, offering a dedicated award to an outstanding student enrolled in the MW program. Both efforts aim to cultivate a global network of educators capable of articulating Italy's regional diversity with precision.

Vinitaly Opens Scholarship Path for Italian Wine Ambassadors
Aspiring wine professionals now have a direct route to the Italian Wine Ambassador certification through new scholarship programs in New York. By partnering with Les Dames d'Escoffier and the Institute of Masters of Wine, the Vinitaly International Academy is removing financial barriers for experts eager to master Italy’s complex viticultural landscape.
Hosted at Banville Wine Merchants, the October 25–26 certification course serves as a precursor to the broader Vinitaly.USA event at Pier 36. Under the guidance of Sarah Heller MW, participants move through intensive theoretical modules, guided tastings, and regional analysis before sitting for the final examination. Successful candidates join a community of 525 existing ambassadors, gaining official recognition during the program's signature pinning ceremony. Applications for the Les Dames d'Escoffier awards close July 30, while the general enrollment deadline for the New York session is September 14.
