Sandler Partners Adds Point5 to Boost Complex Connectivity Projects

Sandler Partners is expanding its provider portfolio by partnering with Point5, a managed connectivity firm specializing in complex, multi-site deployments. The agreement aims to support independent sales partners in handling high-stakes projects for regulated industries, including finance, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare, by providing dedicated, end-to-end delivery management from design through post-sale support.

Sandler Partners Adds Point5 to Boost Complex Connectivity Projects

The collaboration targets a persistent industry pain point: the gap between initial carrier promises and actual service delivery. By integrating Point5 into its network, Sandler Partners provides its sales partners with a specialized resource to manage intricate tasks such as MPLS migrations, data and voice optimization, and global colocation sourcing.

Mark Phaneuf, SVP of Channel for East and Canada, noted that the partnership grants access to global suppliers previously unavailable through traditional channel avenues. Point5’s vendor-agnostic model allows partners to pursue high-value deals with the assurance of operational oversight. Brandon Byrne, founder of Point5, emphasized that the firm’s practitioner-led approach is designed to ensure complex deals succeed through consistent team involvement rather than relying solely on carrier relationships. The move strengthens Sandler Partners’ existing ecosystem, which currently includes over 220 providers and a suite of AI-powered sales tools.
