CB&I Wins Well Engineering Contract for Abu Dhabi Offshore Block 4
CB&I’s Asset Solutions business has secured a new contract with Cosmo E&P Albahriya Limited to provide well engineering services for Offshore Block 4 in Abu Dhabi. The deal marks a strategic expansion for the company, which will manage drilling, planning, and operational support for the site.
John Pearson, Chief Operating Officer of CB&I Asset Solutions, noted that the UAE remains a critical growth market for the company’s service expansion strategy. Hisato Ishii, General Manager at Cosmo E&P Albahriya, cited the firm’s specialized expertise in well engineering as a primary factor in the selection, emphasizing a shared focus on safe and efficient execution for the upcoming exploration phase.
