Offshore Workforce Views AI as Productivity Booster, Not Job Threat
Only 7% of offshore professionals fear that artificial intelligence will jeopardize their positions, according to a survey of 1,860 employees across four countries. Far from anticipating displacement, the majority of the workforce reports that integrated AI tools have already bolstered their daily output and overall professional confidence.
Rather than viewing technology as a replacement, 41% of the surveyed staff characterize AI as a supportive layer that maintains the core nature of their work. The main obstacles to further integration are not fear of obsolescence, but rather restricted access to software and organizational security policies. CEO Andy Schachtel suggests that this shift serves as an equalizer, narrowing the output gap between local and offshore teams by granting both groups access to identical technological resources.
