The Federal Communications Commission has tapped AI firm Quantifind to fortify the security of U.S. communications infrastructure against foreign influence. Tasked with navigating opaque ownership structures, the agency will deploy the Graphyte platform to screen entities and equipment that could jeopardize national security.
Ari Tuchman, Quantifind’s CEO and co-founder, described the shift as a necessary response to the increasing complexity of modern network oversight. The platform utilizes machine learning and proprietary name-matching technology to surface hidden relationships that traditional manual screening often misses. This partnership strengthens the Bureau’s capacity to manage the FCC Covered List and coordinate effectively with interagency partners, including the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
