Schwarz brings a 35-year background to the Stamford-based firm, most notably from his tenure as the Dallas business unit professional practice partner at KPMG. His career includes extensive work leading audit engagements for a wide range of public and private entities, as well as serving as an SEC engagement quality control reviewing partner. Chairman Ilan Kaufthal highlighted Schwarz’s background in risk management and corporate governance as key assets for the company’s long-term strategic planning.

Keith Schwarz Joins Tronox Board of Directors
With over three decades of experience in public accounting and advisory services, Keith Schwarz has been appointed to the Tronox Holdings board of directors. The move, effective immediately, adds a seasoned financial expert to the company’s audit committee as it navigates complex global mineral markets and titanium production.
His arrival brings the Tronox board to nine members, six of whom serve as independent directors. A graduate of Oklahoma State University and a certified public accountant, Schwarz is expected to bolster the company’s oversight capabilities. Tronox, a major global manufacturer of titanium dioxide pigment and zircon, currently maintains operations across six continents with a workforce of approximately 5,700 employees.
