Shailesh Jejurikar to Lead Procter & Gamble Board

Procter & Gamble has elevated President and Chief Executive Shailesh Jejurikar to the role of chairman, a transition set to take effect on August 1. This appointment marks the final step in a leadership succession plan as the Cincinnati-based consumer goods titan prepares for the departure of its long-serving executive chairman.

Shailesh Jejurikar to Lead Procter & Gamble Board

Jon Moeller, who steered the company as president and CEO from 2021 through 2025, will retire from the board on July 31. His tenure at the organization concludes officially on August 14. Moeller joined P&G in 1988, contributing to the firm's strategic direction for over three decades.

Jejurikar, a veteran who began his career at P&G in 1989, assumed the president and CEO titles at the start of 2026, succeeding Moeller. The consolidation of the chairman role under Jejurikar signals a new chapter for the manufacturer, which continues to manage a vast portfolio of household brands under its current leadership structure.
