Maison Shanghai 2026 Sets Stage for Global Design Integration

Under the theme "Design Without Limits," Maison Shanghai returns to the World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from September 7–10, 2026. The event serves as a strategic crossroads for architects, manufacturers, and retailers, aiming to bridge the gap between Chinese creative evolution and international market demands.

Maison Shanghai 2026 Sets Stage for Global Design Integration

The exhibition occupies 80,000 square meters, hosting over 1,000 brands and a dense schedule of 100 forums. Organizers CNFA and IM Sinoexpo have implemented a "4 Theme Halls + 1 Design Gathering" structure to streamline navigation across the vast venue. This layout segments the experience into specialized zones: interior aesthetics and soft furnishings in H1, manufacturing and supply chain connectivity in H2, and high-level conceptual exploration in the H3 Design Highland. The H4 Future Presence hall rounds out the floor plan as an incubator for emerging designers and experimental business models.

Beyond the static displays, the "Design Gathering" program facilitates direct dialogue through product launches and networking sessions. The event is scheduled to run concurrently with Furniture China 2026, which takes place at the SNIEC from September 8–11. This scheduling overlap provides global professionals with a comprehensive view of China’s design ecosystem, ranging from raw manufacturing capabilities to high-end artistic innovation. Registration for the event is currently open via the official online portal and mobile application.
