Danielle Chircop Appointed CEO of Pragmatic Institute

With over two decades of experience scaling learning businesses, Danielle Chircop has been named Chief Executive Officer of Pragmatic Institute. She joins the Phoenix-based training firm to steer its strategic evolution as organizations increasingly grapple with integrating generative AI into their product development workflows.

Danielle Chircop Appointed CEO of Pragmatic Institute

Chircop arrives at Pragmatic following a five-year tenure at General Assembly, where she served as Chief Product and Technology Officer. During her time there, she spearheaded a pivot toward AI workforce transformation, launching programs that drove 30% growth in B2B revenue. Her technical background includes a 13-year career at Kaplan, where she held roles ranging from Vice President of Engineering to Head of Platform Development and co-founded the adaptive assessment business KITE.

At Pragmatic, Chircop inherits an organization with a 30-year history of training product professionals through its proprietary 37-box framework. She aims to bridge the gap between traditional product management principles and modern AI-enabled execution. According to Chircop, the firm’s focus will remain on helping teams apply foundational product judgment to improve business outcomes rather than teaching AI in isolation. Her appointment is backed by PennantPark Investment Advisers, with partner Ryan Raskopf citing her specific blend of product strategy and AI-driven operational experience as the catalyst for the company’s next phase of growth.
