The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has granted Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology status to Titan HST’s OneCommand platform. This federal designation limits liability exposure for both the Newport Beach-based company and the organizations that deploy its two-way communication system during crises, following a rigorous review of its operational effectiveness.
OneCommand utilizes mesh networking and augmented reality to assist first responders and security teams in locating individuals during zero-visibility emergencies. According to Vic Merjanian, founder and CEO of Titan HST, the platform was developed to maintain connectivity under extreme conditions, ensuring precise coordination when every second counts. The designation also offers significant legal protections to clients, shielding them from liability claims arising from the performance of the technology during a covered event. Akmal Ali, a former Deputy Director of the SAFETY Act program who guided the company through the federal review, noted that the certification serves as an independent validation of the system’s reliability for government and enterprise security procurement.
