The Redwood City-based infrastructure firm added 9,700 net interconnections during the quarter, reflecting the rising necessity for standardized AI deployment environments. CEO Adaire Fox-Martin noted that recurring revenue has seen double-digit growth for three consecutive quarters, a trend the firm expects to sustain through 2029. Alongside the revenue gains, Equinix reported $1.396 billion in adjusted EBITDA, achieving a record margin of 53%.

Looking toward the future, the company elevated its 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $10.205–10.285 billion. The long-term outlook for 2027–2029 was also revised upward, with annual revenue growth now projected at 10–13%, up from the previous 7–10% estimate. This optimism is fueled by increased visibility into capacity commitments and steady returns on capital. To support this expansion, Equinix currently has 52 active data center projects across 33 global markets.
