Carrier Global Faces Investor Investigation Following Q2 Results

Carrier Global Corp. shares tumbled following a second-quarter earnings report that revealed a 12% year-over-year drop in adjusted earnings per share. The sudden market contraction has prompted Levi & Korsinsky LLP to launch an investigation into whether company leadership provided misleading statements regarding financial performance.

Carrier Global Faces Investor Investigation Following Q2 Results

The legal scrutiny centers on a disconnect between public optimism and fiscal reality. During an earnings call on April 30, 2026, CEO David Gitlin characterized the company’s performance as results that exceeded expectations. By July 29, 2026, the company reported that adjusted earnings per share had fallen to $0.86 from $0.92, while operating margins contracted by 1.8 percentage points. Investigators are now examining whether these disclosures align with the firm's prior representations to shareholders.

Investors who incurred losses after purchasing CARR stock are currently being reviewed for potential securities claims. The firm leading the probe, Levi & Korsinsky, is assessing whether shareholders were misled by the executive team’s characterization of corporate health. Participation in the investigation requires no upfront fees, as the firm operates on a contingency basis, and does not necessitate court appearances for those affected.
