The funding will prioritize extensive clinical studies across commercial cattle operations in North America and Europe. By validating the efficacy of its sustained-release enzyme technology in agricultural settings, the Rehovot-based company intends to build the scientific foundation necessary to eventually enter the human reproductive healthcare market.

Nir Arbel, CEO of Maia Fertility, noted that the partnership provides the infrastructure required to prove the technology at scale. Tom Mastrobuoni, Chief Investment Officer at Big Idea Ventures, highlighted the immediate market potential within the livestock sector as a critical stepping stone for the company's long-term goals. Mercantile Companies Inc. CEO I. Steven Edelson added that the investment underscores the dual importance of reproductive efficiency in both the agricultural and medical fields.
