Infrastructure projects are facing a mounting web of federal regulations, from Davis-Bacon wage requirements to clean energy mandates. The round was led by Khosla Ventures, with additional backing from Allianz, Rebel Fund, and industry figures including Garry Tan. Dili, an alumnus of the Y Combinator Summer 2023 batch, targets the high-stakes world of federal construction funding where minor reporting errors trigger multi-million dollar fines. By replacing manual sampling with automated data extraction, the company claims to reduce tasks that previously occupied an entire workday to mere minutes.

CEO Anand Chaturvedi notes that the platform avoids the unpredictability of large language models by isolating them to the data layer. Once unstructured documents are parsed into structured information, a deterministic system applies rigid regulatory frameworks to ensure accuracy. Currently deployed across 700 projects—ranging from data centers to manufacturing facilities—the software is used both as an in-house tool and as a managed service. Chaturvedi expects the industry to increasingly favor the software-first model as AI continues to displace traditional professional service workflows.
