Intersignal to Open-Source Braid Tool for Portable AI State
Moving signed 384-dimensional latent states between isolated machines, Intersignal’s Braid Light Client v1.4.4 launches as an open-source toolkit. The system enables AI state to travel across local APIs, files, or optical QR channels, ensuring the receiving node maintains final authority over acceptance or rejection.

Founder David Seaman describes the protocol as a way to treat AI systems as architectural collaborators rather than static chatbots. The browser-based studio provides interactive visualization and a dual-path camera receiver that uses the native BarcodeDetector API. This optical layer, known as BRAD1, converts signed frames into ISO/IEC 18004 QR symbols for physical transmission.
