Founded by DMV native and award-winning performer Brian Curry, the festival has evolved into a centerpiece for magic enthusiasts since its 2019 debut. This year’s programming spans three days of performances, ranging from family-oriented comedy and juggling by The Great Kaplan to the psychological illusions of Jason Suran. Other headliners include Puck, Benjamin Barnes, and international star Mark Kalin, who will perform evening sets throughout the weekend.

Washington’s Capital Hilton transforms into a hub of illusion this Labor Day weekend as the sixth annual DC Festival of Magic returns. Running from September 4 through September 6, the event brings together a roster of mentalists and performers to showcase sleight-of-hand artistry in the heart of the capital.
Beyond the stage, the hotel’s Statler Lounge will host nightly tableside magic sessions and offer themed beverages like the 'Truth Serum.' Guests can purchase tickets for individual performances or opt for the Festival of Magic package, which includes all-access passes and drink vouchers.
