Nevada Salt Complex Holds $3.5 Trillion in Critical Minerals

A new resource report from 3 Proton Lithium reveals that its Railroad Valley project in Nye County, Nevada, contains an estimated $3.5 trillion in critical minerals. The site holds massive deposits of lithium, potash, and boron, alongside a discovery of tungsten that dwarfs any other known resource in the United States.

The Railroad Valley Minerals Project spans 39,000 acres and sits above a brine pool estimated at 23 billion barrels of recoverable fluid. According to the company, the site contains 31 million tons of measured Lithium Carbonate Equivalent, 533 million tons of potash, and 87 million tons of boron. The standout finding is 1.78 million tons of inferred tungsten, a material the U.S. has not mined commercially since 2015 and currently imports due to heavy reliance on foreign markets.

Kevin Moore, Chairman and CFO of 3 Proton Lithium, described the find as a matter of national security rather than a traditional mining venture. The minerals are located as soluble salts between 1,200 and 2,800 feet deep, allowing for extraction via solution mining. This method avoids the environmental footprint of open pits or acid plants required for hard-rock operations. The firm also plans to process sodium carbonate and sodium sulfate found in the brine to offset operational costs. The project currently holds a FAST-41 Transparency designation, marking it as strategically significant for federal energy and economic self-reliance goals.
