The new application, built on Atlassian’s Forge platform, automates the retrieval of governed content from the KMS Lighthouse database. By embedding a dedicated knowledge panel within the Jira interface, the tool ensures that agents access consistent, up-to-date documentation rather than relying on fragmented or exported data. Doron Gower, Chief Solution Architect at KMS Lighthouse, noted that the integration was a direct response to user requests for a more cohesive experience.

KMS Lighthouse Launches Jira App for Real-Time Knowledge Retrieval
Support agents frequently lose momentum by toggling between disparate platforms to locate verified information. KMS Lighthouse is addressing this workflow friction by launching a native integration on the Atlassian Marketplace, allowing teams to surface trusted knowledge directly within the Jira issue view without navigating away from their active ticket.

Beyond simple viewing, the app enables agents to insert answers into ticket comments with a single click. Security is managed server-side, with access tokens and shared secrets restricted from browser exposure. This deployment structure allows administrators to link their existing knowledge base to Jira through the product settings, standardizing information delivery across healthcare, financial services, and retail operations.
