Warehouse staff at the high-profile Las Vegas Sphere have voted decisively to unionize with Teamsters Local 986. The 22 employees, who manage the massive logistics behind every show at the world's highest-grossing arena, are seeking improved wages and safer conditions as the venue continues to generate record-breaking revenues.
For the workers involved, the vote represents a shift in workplace dynamics at a site that reported $781.4 million in revenue and 1.7 million ticket sales in 2025. Beverly Wilson, a warehouse worker and new member of Local 986, noted that the unionization effort provides a collective voice for staff who previously felt marginalized.
