Virologist Clinton Jones Recognized for Excellence in Microbiology

Since joining Oklahoma State University in 2015, Jones has directed studies on viral pathogenesis and DNA viruses. His work at the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences builds upon a career that challenged long-standing biological assumptions. By mapping how stress-induced immunosuppression affects susceptibility to bacterial pneumonia, his laboratory has provided critical data for vaccine development.
