Dental Assistant Patents Non-Slip Glove for Precision Procedures

"I thought there could be a better way to increase dexterity and prevent slippage when working within a patient's oral cavity," said a Maple Grove inventor regarding the creation of the No Slip Grip When Wet Gloves, a patent-pending design aimed at securing small, slippery dental components during surgery.

Dental Assistant Patents Non-Slip Glove for Precision Procedures

Standard surgical gloves often lack the necessary friction for handling delicate veneers, crowns, and implants. This new design replaces traditional materials with a specialized waterproof surface that improves control for dentists, hygienists, and assistants. By minimizing the risk of dropping or dislodging items inside the mouth, the product offers a more stable environment for complex procedures.

Beyond dentistry, the utility of the glove extends to the medical and vision fields where similar precision is required. The invention is currently managed by InventHelp and is available for licensing or acquisition by manufacturers looking to integrate advanced tactile standards into their clinical supply lines.
